It's beginning to feel like Christmas!

There is nothing like the Christmas rush to get you in the mood or put you in a panic like I am sure many of you are feeling.

A few lucky people will get some beautiful quilted Christmas gifts this year.

Gillian had me quilt this gorgeous tree skirt for a very lucky person in her life.

I used the printed design to work a half feather around the entire tree skirt and then  free motioned the poinsettias.

The quilting details show up much better on the back.

You can see that pictures are the last thought on my mind, I am still in training. Note to self, remove all threads before snapping the picture.

Kathy used a Christmas jelly roll for this beautiful quilt. We quilted a snowflake pantograph on it with a silvery grey thread.  It will be given as a Christmas gift to a lucky friend.  It is backed with a snowflake patterned flannel, can you imagine being  curled up  under it on Christmas morning.

I  didn't crop out my fireplace in the picture, I think this quilt  looks perfect in my house.
