Scrappy Strips
This is one of the easiest true scrap quilts to make. Using a wide variety of neutral and pastel fabrics, it is made on a flannel foundation which then becomes the batt. Once the flannel shrinks it looks instantly aged. It would look equally amazing in one color family or all bright or dark fabrics.

Pineapple Tidbits
This is one of my most admired quilts. Everyone has to pass by it to get into my studio, so it is fondled often. It is the quilt that got me started on using flannel as a foundation. It was made in my early quilting days before I understood colour value and print scale. This quilt is tied with pearl cotton.
