Hi, my name is Sandy and I was born with a needle in my hand not a computer!!  After lots of encouragement from family and friends I am dragging myself into the modern age with this blog about my long arm quilting business called Scrappy Gal Quilt Co. 

I  have held a lifelong interest in making stuff, especially on a sewing machine, however I found my passion with quilting.  For me personally  it became  a very practical art form. I could be creative and fill my need to be productive at the same time.  Many quilts later I bought my first long arm machine.  The rest is history!

I currently quilt with  an Innova Longarm Machine, enabling me to produce the highest quality of stitching on the market. I am able  to quilt everything from freehand in front of the machine, to dense custom quilting.   I am equally comfortable outlining  your appliqué  or quilting an edge to edge pantograph.  Together we choose the style of quilting that complements your quilt top and budget.

With over twenty years of quilting experience,  I can turn your unfinished tops into quilted treasures for you and your family to love and cherish.  As a quilt maker myself, I appreciate the time and  effort that my customers have gone thru in making their quilts, and I finish it as if it were my own.
